The Beer Mile is exactly what it sounds like: four laps of a 400m track, one full can before each lap.
What started in car parks has grown into a proper competitive sport: world records, governing bodies, athletes who actually train for it.
At PB Festival, we're running it properly, with a couple of PB Festival twists: two competitive heats, official race format, and Good George Virtual Reality non-alcoholic beer in the can.
Never seen one? Watch what you're getting yourself into.
These are the official Beer Mile world records. Ours is unofficial.
Official records via BeerMile.com. Unofficial event.

Virtual Reality Pale Ale is a full-flavoured bright pale ale beer with a light malt sweetness and a citrus-forward aroma. Crafted with a specialty strain of yeast, the brew delivers gentle bitterness with a dash of tropical passionfruit, but has less than 0.5% alcohol by volume.
The second non-alcoholic beer in Good George's Virtual Reality range. Crafted to be a great-tasting beer first, which just so happens to have no alcohol. A perfect bright pale ale for when you want a great-tasting beer without the buzz. 330ml cans.
